Publishing Conditions

Reputivo publishes reviews received through an authenticated syndication feed where the sender confirms the rights to republish the text, and clearly labelled fictional demonstration content.

Imported reviews are labelled "Imported publication". We use "Republished with permission" only where permission has actually been established and recorded. Each review shows its original date (when known) separately from the date it was published on Reputivo.

Incoming reviews are held as pending until an administrator approves them, unless an administrator has explicitly enabled automatic publication. Reviews can be rejected or withdrawn at any time; withdrawn reviews are removed from listings and ratings.

Business ratings are calculated only from published reviews that include a rating. Reviews without a rating never count as zero stars. Demonstration reviews never count towards real ratings.

Directory profiles are editorial records, not verified accounts. A review is shown on a profile only where authorship has been established with recorded evidence.
